Now CEO at Wyuna Regenerative Ag, he is combining his interests in food production and sustainability to drive value across a network of ag assets and investments.

Steve has extensive experience in sustainability, climate policy and markets & has worked as a senior sustainability advisor to Westpac Banking Corporation, a global sector leader in sustainability, and advised a range of companies, including Nestle & Investec, on ESG issues.

He recently spent the last nine years in executive roles at the NSW Department of Primary Industries.

Chris is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GreenPoint Partners.

Prior to this, Chris led Macquarie Capital’s Real Estate business, chaired its Investment Committee and sat on the global management committee for the whole division. He led the real estate business from 2008-2018, developing extensive relationships with real estate institutional investors, owners, managers, and developers globally.

Some career highlights include expanding the Macquarie Capital’s real estate investing business into a group that today manages A$25 billion, facilitating over $65 billion of global real estate equity investments by major institutional investors (often via innovative structures and into new geographic and / or property sectors) and employed Macquarie’s balance sheet to invest in a number of real estate special situations.
